about me

GANIYAT OGUNDELE

Ogundele is a creative artist with a passion for costume design. Since 2014, she has served as the Wardrobe Manager for the popular sitcom, "The Johnsons Family." Her journey began at Obafemi Awolowo University, where she majored in Acting and Costume Designing. During her studies, she actively participated in stage productions, both as an actor and costume designer.

Building on her foundation in Dramatic Arts, Ogundele further honed her skills in Fashion and Textile design. Her impressive portfolio includes projects such as "Abobaku" for DV Works/Mnet (2007), stage adaptations of "Ogboju Ode Ninu Igbo Irunmale" (2009) and "Ireke Onibudo Agbara Ife" (2010), and "Aramotu," which garnered the AMAA Award for Best Costume Design in 2010. She also contributed her expertise to the Nigeria's 50th Anniversary Poetry Festival, organized by GTBank, among other notable projects.

She is eager to explore a diverse range of roles, from costume designer and builder to supervisor, working on productions both within Nigeria and internationally. Her talent was acknowledged in 2018 with a nomination for Best Costume for the short film "Tare" at the In Short Film Festival.
